Environmental Law Awareness programme is intended to assist in striking a balance between development and environment conservation in the context of rapid industrial growth in Gujarat. Creating awareness of environmental laws and increasing the level of accountability of the industries is the main focus. For achieving this Environmental Law Awareness programmes are conducted regularly for industries located in Gujarat. These programmes are aimed at making the industrialists and their executives appreciate the environmental consequences of their actions vis-à-vis the legal position so that they can play a proactive role in improving the situation.
